Yellow Rose Glassworks was inspired by my great grandfather.
Red Nobles was a stained glass artist, square dancing champion, World War II US Navy veteran, and proud Texan who loved making yellow roses for his wife Wanda. (They were her favorite.)
Every window in all my loved ones homes have his art reflecting mesmerizing light and color.
What was only a casual past time that started in the later years of Papa’s life, sparked a fascination for the rest of mine. Those sun-catchers will always be a vivid and nostalgic part of my childhood memories. :’)
